My Philosophy

Authentic

My Photography in consisted of real authentic moments. How might I do this you ask? I bring my couples through a process like 1-1 consultations to really get to know you. Your likes, dislikes, and figure out who you and your fiancé are as people. Building a relationship is super important to the process rather than me just showing up one day to be your photographer. This allows me to capture the essence of your relationship with one another with no awkwardness whatsoever.

Intimate

Intimacy is the closeness you feel with your partner. It’s more than just physical touch, sometimes it’s captured in the moment or feel of an image. When I work with my couples, my goal is to capture the intimacy of what your relationship is; nothing is forced, just candid, natural, and unforced moments. I don't use poses; I use natural, dynamic, guided motion that flows into each image. It is through the environment I create for my couples that allows them to show up naturally and be captured while they are experiencing the joy of the moment. My process flows with ease, matching your energy, I am able to capture images that allow you to connect.

Fun

Let’s get real, who want’s to do a photoshoot that’s not fun? Our time together will be filled with jokes and goofiness. I sometimes like to think myself as a jokester, or comedian. But, what makes this experience with me so fun? I’m glad you asked :). It’s most likely the goofy poses or movements I could have you do at any moment to keep you on your toes and with a smile on your face. Or I might ask you to bring your childhood back for just a few minutes and play tag with each other. Other times it could be that I told a joke so unfunny… that it’s funny. The possibilities are endless, you just have to come find out for yourself.

FAQs

What if we’re not photogenic?

The truth is that you are photogenic, you just don’t know it yet. It all just comes with how comfortable you are in front of a camera. My job is to make that awkwardness and second guessing poof and disappear. I guarantee you'll look and realize how worthy you are of being in front of a camera.

What should we wear?

Now this is something that varies with each individual couple. As well as depending on the time of year. A great start though is dressing comfortable for whatever the season and setting are. If you’re uncomfortable in what you’re wearing it will transfer into the Images. Second, I recommend wearing something that is true to you. Some couples like to wear a dress and a suit, others in sweaters, a button up, skirt, the possibilities can go on and on. Think of yourself as a brand, stay true to you and how do you want to represent yourself?

How will we receive our images?

Your gallery from your session or wedding will be delivered through an online gallery. This is sent directly to your provided email. From the gallery you can download any picture you’d like, as well as share them with friends or family with a link to the gallery. There is also an online store you can purchase a wide variety of prints from should you want some. For weddings, if you have album credits you’d like to cash in this is separate from the online store.

Can you recommend locations to us?

Yes! I have plenty of locations that I love to shoot at and are just absolutely stunning. I myself, love the outdoors so you will hear of lots of beautiful forest locations, beaches, even a really special looking temple over in San Francisco. I can’t put out all my locations here.
